Worx

If you have been searching the market for various hedge trimmers already, then you will no doubt have come across several brand names that you know about. But others aren’t so familiar, and one of these is likely to be Worx.

So are they worth considering in more depth when you want to buy a hedge trimmer? Will they really fit the bill, or will they be less satisfying to use than some other makes? Let’s find out more about them so we can see what they are like as a brand.

A Selection of the Best Selling Worx Hedge Trimmers

What types of hedge trimmer do they make?

The Worx website is very advanced and smooth looking, so although you need to go through a few choices to find what you need, it all takes place on a single page.

And you will see that they have three different hedge trimmers currently available. Two of these need to be plugged in via the lead supplied, and the other one is a cordless model. They don’t seem to sell any petrol trimmers though, so you will need to consider other brands if you want one of these.

Why should you choose a hedge trimmer made by them?

You only need to take a brief look at the pictures of their hedge trimmers on their website to see that you are looking at really nice quality items here. They have clearly all been designed to be supremely comfortable when you hold them to use in the garden. That counts for a lot as you do need to twist and turn them a bit to get to all the areas of hedges that need cutting back.

They also have neat features such as adjustable handles. This means that if you find most other hedge trimmers slightly uncomfortable to hold, the Worx range will really appeal to you. They have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into creating something that isn’t just a standard model. The Worx hedge trimmers are well designed and very good at the job they are intended for.

What price ranges do they fall into?

The absolute best price we could find for a Worx hedge trimmer was just under £50. On the whole, between £50 and £80 seems to be about right when you compare different sites with each other.

The cordless model will cost you more than the other two, since it has more benefits with not needing to be plugged in as you use it. But we managed to find this model quite easily at just under £70, so you could get a nice bargain here.

What kind of information can you find on their website?

As soon as you arrive on the home page you will appreciate their website design. It is very easy to use, with options at the top that reveal more when you simply hover your cursor over them. You will find the hedge trimmers included in the core range of their goods, in the lawn and garden section.

As for the actual product pages, these benefit from a reasonable sized picture that has a lot of information written below it. A simple paragraph is enough to sell the main features of each specific hedge trimmer to you. Below that you will find various features listed, each of which has a small photo to illustrate the point being made.

The specifications are included on the right hand side of the page, so check these to ensure the one you are looking at will meet your needs. You can also see what else is included with the hedge trimmer, if anything.

But most importantly you are able to click on the option to get a PDF download of the user manual. This should download quite quickly and you can then save a copy if you wish. This is by far the best way to see what you are getting before you make your purchase. You will also be able to read all the essential safety information here.

In conclusion

Worx may not be a well known name in the UK. But it is better known elsewhere, such as in the US for example. So who knows, it may be starting to get a good name for itself over here as word about the quality of its products grows.

They may only have a small range of hedge trimmers on offer, but the ones they do have are very good quality and are definitely fit for the job.
